Brief: Create a video to promote the Manchester School of Architecture, and it’s courses.
Project: We created a film which explores the wealth of architecture in Manchester. We wanted to show what it’s like to walk around Manchester – seeing everything in constant movement and always from eye level.
Instead of focusing on specifics of the course, we decided the MSA’s unique proposition was, in many ways, Manchester itself.
We used the voices of two current students, and interviewed them at great length. This was turned into a narrative to both fulfil specific brief points, but also communicate ideas about Manchester which went beyond the University and the course.
